VENDETTA RELEASED as FREE E-BOOK

 

The final Descendants Saga Novel: VENDETTA has been finished and released as a FREE E-BOOK through Smashwords and Amazon Kindle. The Amazon Kindle version should soon take on the free price, but can be downloaded in all ebook formats (including Kindle) at SMASHWORDS.

 

VENDETTA is a little shorter  than the other Descendant Novels (which is why I'm giving it away for FREE), but the story is there and finishes off the series as I had hoped...Also VENDETTA serves as the Prologue for my next series spinning off from Descendants to create: CRISIS SEQUENCE. I've included the Crossover Cover Here for your enjoyment, so that fans will know what to look for when the next series begins.

This new series will take up where Descendants Saga leaves off...A new cast of characters will be introduced, leaving most of our old cast behind. Nevertheless, the new cast will be front and center in this new Apocalyptic Series.

 

The CRISIS SEQUENCE will start up with the first novel: RAGE: CRISIS SEQUENCE BOOK ONE. I'll share the first cover and a brief synopsis here. I hope the fans of Descendants will join me for this new series. It promises to be a fun new ride!

New Series Coming Soon!

With Descendants Saga wrapping up very soon... I'm currently in the middle of novel #7 "VENDETTA" ... I'm ready to announce a brand new series. As I may have mentioned earlier on, fans of Descendants Saga will find they have more insight into what's going on, or at least how it is rooted in the Descendants Universe. However, this will also be a series that can stand alone for those who have never read Descendants :)

Projects IN THE Works

At the moment a lot is happening!

 

Fallen Audiobook is in production: I've heard the first installment from Narrator / Producer, John LeBlanc, and it sounds fantastic! Even though I've written and read the book over and over by now, I was riveted hearing it in pristine audio.

 

Minor Edits are going on for all of the Descendant Saga Novels...no story changes, just another round to clear up any misspelled words, etc...

 

I've got another project in the works also, but its under wraps for the time being.

 

And Diabolical, the first Descendants Saga Aftermath novel, is a WIP that's partially complete with much more to do...

 

So, a lot of items on my plate at the moment, but that's a good thing. Stay Tuned for updates on the FALLEN AUDIOBOOK, release date and where you can find it. I'm expecting great things for all of the Descendant Novels as they come alive in Audio Format.

Ethan Hawk is proofed and sent!

Hey guys, my latest novel manuscript (#5), Ethan Hawk and the Realm Shift, has been proofed and sent to my agent Gregg Wooding. This is a big relief, but leaves me waiting now to see if any of the queried publishers are going to respond positively. I've always got more writing work to take on, so I'll just stay busy with it and pray!

This picture from the web reminded me of the main villian in Ethan Hawk - a Nephilim conqueror named Mordred who is sometimes indwelt by a demon named Jericho.

Out of four series I've started so far, this one may be my favorite...but when you put so much into a novel it's really hard to pick favorites!

ETHAN HAWK and the REALM SHIFT

I'm very excited about the new series I'm working on at the moment. This one has Nephilim as the enemy and used in a way I haven't seen yet. Ethan Hawk is God's young Deliverer in the story, only he doesn't realize it yet (in Moses-esque fashion). He will be empowered more like a judge though, as God has given him special gifts to utilize in the fulfillment of prophecy in this fictional world and the Kingdom of Nod.

I've just finished completely outlining 31 chapters for the first book and I'm planning on continuing to outline the second book now as well. I don't want to get into writing another novel until I hear news about Chronicles of Soone: Rise of Lucin with these publishers. On another positive note: I've just completed a complete revision of COS: Heir to the King (already published with Breakneck books). I'm not sure what will be done with it--remain at Breakneck or what--but I intend for this much needed revision to come out some way. Stay tuned...

Update: I've just completed chapter outlines for the entire four novel ETHAN HAWK series. The fantasy anthology, LEGENDS & FABLES may appear on amazon.com as early as next month which has my "A World Within" story in it. I sure do hope to hear from my agent soon, with good news on Chronicles of Soone: Rise of Lucin. The waiting game is the hardest part of being an author from what I 've experienced so far...I would gladly swap a deadline for it!

Wrapping Up PERDITONS GATE!

Well, I'm on the last chapter of PERDITIONS GATE: Escape from New Eden and soon it will be time to laze about on the couch watching T.V. and taking it easy...ahhhhhh....

Are you kidding?! Of course it won't be. There's so much left to do!

I'll put the book aside for about a week and then begin proofing the manuscript. It's already under submission with one proposal requested by a Christian Publisher --to remain nameless at this time. And hopefully that will pan out.

I've just received an epiphany on the next book in the P.G. series and the tentative title; let me know what you think: PERDITIONS GATE: Hell on Earth.

If you think it sounds a bit strong, then remember the setting is the Great Tribulation period from Revelation and the wrath of God is falling on a sin darkened world at the time--so, I think it's not too strong, yet who wouldn't find it compelling to investigate? By the way, if you've thought this was some Left Behind clone, you'd be happily mistaken. Anyone who's read my Chronicles of So0ne series, should know well, that my novels are relentless on action and P.G. is no exception. And since I like the sci-fi element, it's set in the year 2094.

Next up to the plate is my new Young Adult / Childrens novel: A World Within. This one is already submitted in short story form with an upcoming fantasy anthology and so far it looks promising to get in. But the full novel is next to be written and I'm really looking forward to it. It's difficult not to compare stories with the epitomies of different genres you write in, but this young adult fantasy may be Narnia-ish, yet it will be completely different and follow my action packed style of writing (I am what I am).

I hope to finish some reading in the near future, but I just can't get away from the keyboard with my own writing.

New Cover for The Chronicles of Soone: The Rise of Lucin*

Well, as promised, this is the new cover for The Chronicles of Soone: The Rise of Lucin, which is scheduled to be released by Breakneck Books in November 2007.

I hope everyone caught the awesome interview with Christian fantasy author, Wayne Batson! If you didn't then your in luck...just scroll down and check it out.

The Rise of Lucin will be a darker chapter in the Chronicles trilogy. Think Star Wars episode III. The bad guys spend a lot of time with the upper hand and by the end of the book, several major characters die. But I think anyone who has enjoyed the first book, Heir to the King, will definitely enjoy this one and hopefully will be on the edge of their seats for the third book when the time comes.

Updates on my writing: PERDITIONS GATE: Escape from New Eden, my new futuristic action thriller, is a few chapters away from completion and I'm already beginning to send out query letters and such to agents. Also things are looking good for my new young adult fantasy series, A World Within. The short story anthology version is complete and will hopefully appear in an upcoming fantasy anthology this summer...I'll keep you updated. And of course, this story is going to be my next full length novel too. So, alot is going on this year...
